The 2025 Asia FinTech Awards winners
The winners of the 2025 Asia FinTech Awards were revealed last week at the prestigious awards ceremony at the Glasshouse in Singapore.
Airwallex were the biggest winners on the night, taking home Banking Tech of the Year and Best Employer Award, with their director Arnold Chan winning Director of the Year.
The biggest prize on the night, FinTech of the Year, was won by dtcpay.

Startup of the Year: Sensen Technology Pte. Ltd
The judges were impressed with this entry because of the end-to-end comprehensiveness of the solution. They also appreciated the strength of security involved, showing the company’s focus on protecting their clients.
RegTech of the Year: Sumsub
The judges chose this winner because they adapt to each client. With their range of AI-powered checks and exceptional rates of deepfake detection, they provide security to their clients based on their specific need with over 90% onboarding pass rates.
PayTech of the Year, sponsored by Visa: KPay Group
This entry was chosen as the winner because the judges were impressed by the wide range of payment solutions on offer. As well as the range they were impressed by the speed, with the company having the fastest settlement cycle currently on the market.
Personal Finance Tech of The Year: Moomoo Financial Singapore
What made this entry stand out was their positive use of AI. They’re leveraging it to empower investors, giving more control to individuals and allowing them to make smarter, more informed investment decisions.
Investment Tech of the Year: Long Bridge Securities Pte. Ltd
The judges were impressed by this company’s drive to make investing more accessible, both in terms of ease of understanding and global accessibility. They have tens of thousands of global investment products, giving their clients the freedom to select them.
LendTech of the Year: UNO Digital Bank
The judges selected this entry as the winner because they were impressed by the heavy focus on inclusivity and financial inclusion. The judges like that it’s an entirely digital offering, providing digital banking to a population who have been excluded in the past.
Banking Tech of the Year: Airwallex
This entry stood out because the solution makes it so that customers don’t need to open foreign accounts to grow multi-currency balances. They provided customer testimonials that showed how well liked and important this solution is, proving its effectiveness.
WealthTech of the Year: Moomoo Financial Singapore
The judges were impressed with this entry because it’s helping to address a real need in the market. The company has utilised AI to help younger generations access investing in a much more digital focused way; the way they want to access it.
Web3 Award: Hydra X
This entry stood out because of the company’s growth, which has been tenfold over the last two years. The judges also liked that they’ve worked alongside VCs and investment firms to build a privacy-focused blockchain for Web3 usage.
Data Initiative of the Year: FrankieOne
The judges chose this winner because the solution was created to directly address a customer need. They’ve created a dashboard which customers can customize however they wish, giving them greater control over their data.
InsurTech of the Year: CAMS Insurance Repository Services
The judges were impressed because this solution was created specifically to address an entire country’s need. Due to a lack of understanding people were purchasing insurance without understanding or utilising it; this solution is changing that.
Best Employer Award: Airwallex
The judges chose this winner because they’ve embedded learning into every aspect of their employees’ daily working life. As well as supporting continuous growth, they offer market-leading health and social initiatives, supporting every aspect of their employees’ lives.
Rising Star of The Year: Eva Thach from IDEMIA Secure Transactions
What made this entry stand out is how quickly the person has taken to the industry, having previously worked in a completely different career. In just two years they’ve become a key driver of value for their company and are now an indispensable employee.
Innovator of the Year: Justin Sun from HTX
The judges chose this winner because of the size of the impact they’ve had on the industry. They’ve earned global recognition for their platform, which boasts hundreds of millions of users, and have also worked on a number of key acquisitions and transformations.
Disruptor of The Year: dtcpay
This entry stood out because it allows customers to bypass traditional bottlenecks, making the whole process leaner. They work with customers of all sizes, from ultra-high-net-worth clients to tiny retailers, because their solution is beneficial for everyone.
Crypto Award: Reap
The judges selected this entry because it’s been a key driver in facilitating Asia-LatAm crypto flows. They’ve also made it possible for users to spend on their cards using their stablecoin balances, making crypto easier to use and more accessible for all.
Team of the Year: BRI Global Financial Services Company Limited
This team caught the judges’ attention because they led the company’s pivot to digital solutions. They’ve used their years of experience to make the company – a relatively new one – industry leaders, supporting migrant workers in receiving secure remittance.
Digital Assets Award: Hydra X
The judges chose this entry as the winner because they provide solutions which help companies navigate the complicated and regulated digital asset market. They provide scalable solutions to allow companies to grow sustainably and continue to best serve their customers.
FinTech Partner Award: IDEMIA Secure Transactions
This entry stood out because of the sheer number of fintechs they partner with – over 200. They also serve over 2,000 traditional banks, showing the strength of their solutions and how much they’re able to support businesses.
Director of The Year: Arnold Chan from Airwallex
The judges chose this winner because of the frequency and scale of their achievements. They’ve guided the company into new geographical markets, supported startups in these markets, and acquired a number of new licenses. They’re leading their company from the front, driving it to unprecedented levels of success.
FinTech of The Year: dtcpay
The judges were impressed that this company is the first licensed POS digital currency provider in Singapore. They’re aware of the projected growth for digital payments and are taking steps to make sure they’re best positioned to support clients in this rapidly advancing area.
